SPECIAL NOTICE:  Please note the upcoming important event.

Canon Mark Eldridge from the ACNA recently presented to us the benefits of becoming part of ACNA and held a Q&A session that went very well.  If you were not present for this, please check your emails for a link to the audio of the session.  Should you not have it, check your Junk/Spam in case it arrived there by mistake.  Failing that, you may contact Brent for a copy.

On Sunday Oct 1st, there will be a vote regarding a potential change in affiliation. It is imperative that you make a concerted effort to be there.  Make your voice heard!  Further, our by-laws require 35% of the parish to be present for a vote and, given the size of our congregation, we need as many people as possible to attend!

The Anglican Church of the Word(ACOW) is a member of the Anglican Mission in the Americas (AMiA), a Society of Mission and Apostolic Works. Our Rector, Fr. Cass, is a Missionary Priest, Canonically Resident in the Diocese of Dunkwa-on-Offin, in the Anglican Province of West Africa (Ghana). Fr. Cass’ Bishop, in Ghana, is The Rt. Rev. Edmund Dawson Ahmoah. Our Parish is under the jurisdiction of the Anglican Mission Conference of Bishops, and the College of Consulters.

We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational congregation, worshipping our Lord in a mix of traditional and contemporary Anglican worship styles.

We welcome all persons; those who think they have no faith, little faith or much faith. We pray that wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you will recognize our Lord as He walks with you, so we can all echo the disciples on the road to Emmaus: "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us ...and opened the Scriptures to us?" (Lk 24:32 NIV)

May our Lord be known to all of us in the breaking of Bread.
