March 12, 2017

First Communion Classes will be held starting March 12, 2017. If your child is 6 or 7 (or a little older) please have them attend even if they have been receiving Communion.. This is designed to be experiential learning about what the Eucharist means and why we gather as a family for this remembrance of the Last Supper. After completing the class, children will “formally” receive their 1st Communion. Miss Jenny will guide students in making personal banners commemorating their 1st Communion.
See Fr. Cass for more information.

March 8th to
April 26th, 2017

See Brent Swanson for more information

ALPHA is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. The next ALPHA will be from March 8th to April 26th. More details to follow…
These will be Wednesday evening Pot Luck dinners, followed by a Video presentation and then discussion groups.
Our 1st ALPHA was a highly motivating, non-threatening, spiritual experience for all.
It is a great vehicle to invite people to attend.

Coming soon

Tool Box - “To do a good job, you need the right tools”
– We will soon have a series of brochures for us all to use to explain our faith to others. In addition, we are making up church business cards for each of you to carry with you. It is also my hope to have a packet for each of you that will hold a copy of each brochure. These can be studied individually, as a primer, or by “Encounter Groups”, etc.

– We are also looking at having a swiveling brochure rack in church for guests and visitors. The initial brochures will be: Mission and Outreach; The Anglican Church; What Anglicans Believe; The Book of Common Prayer; Holy Eucharist; Holy Baptism; Becoming a Christian.
